Data Sharing Self Service
For incidents involving multiple organizations, crucial information like water sources, documents or positions of vehicles and personnel can be made available in the Connected Command App across different organizations' accounts. By configuration via Connected Command Web Administration, this data sharing can be established.
- The sharing function is fully configurable regarding which organizations should partake in the sharing and which categories of data should be shared.
- Sharing is established in a secure way requiring mutual agreement between the respective organizations.
- Data is only shared according to the configured organizations and categories, but at any time, regardless of whether a joint operation is taking place or not. If you are familiar with data sharing in Connected Command for Windows, please note the differences in this regard.
Unified Symbols Across Applications
The visual appearance of POIs has been unified across the Connected Command applications.
- Symbols use the same pictures in the Connected Command App, Web Administration and Command for Windows providing more uniform information across environments and platforms.
- Connected Command Web Administration allows the creation of symbol POIs using the same symbol libraries and imagery as Command for Windows.
