What's new

Event Planning

  

Connected Command Web Administration now has a calendar for scheduling events within and beyond the organization. Administrators can now use the following features:

 

  • Coordinate single events and events series, inviting members of your organization or also others. Invited members will get push notifications about their events and can respond to the invitation using the Connected Command App.
  • Get an overview of all events for your organization, created in Web Administration or the Connected Command App. Administrators also have full access to events' details.
  • A new widget for the Alarmmonitor can display events planned for your organization. Just add the widget to your Alarmmonitor layout and tick the box in the events' details in Web Administration.
  • Events can be imported and exported using the Import & Export feature in Web Administration.

Improved Events/Alarms Section in the CC App

 

The Events/Alarms section in the Connected Command App has been revisited and improved based on user feedback and also in the context of the new event planning calendar:

 

  • Personal reminders for events by push notifications can be set for every event (default configurable in app settings).
  • The sort order of events is more intuitive, putting most recent events on top of the list.
  • Past events are automatically archived for a better overview. Also, chats for events can be created on demand from the event details, but will no longer be created for every event by default.

Improved Display of Responses to Alarms

 

 

The summary of members' responses to alarms in the Connected Command App has been improved by making it more compact and easily comprehensible. This applies to the summary in the Alarm event's details, as well as to the summary on top of the list of alarmed members. By selecting a skill from the summary, the member list can be filtered by skills easily to quickly check the necessary staffing for an operation.

It is now also possible to set the sort order of the list entries in the list of alarmed members according to personal preference either alphabetical, or by the time of the response. Go to the App settings -> General Settings if you wish to change the sort order.


General Improvements to The Connected Command App and Web Administration

 

Considering user feedback, several further improvements to our applications have been realized:

 

  • In the member list, vehicles are listed at the bottom to make them easier to separate from persons.
  • Vehicles in the member list are easier recognize by the small truck-icon at the list entry.
  • Placeholder images in the App have icons which make it easier to tell apart events, alarm events and chats.
  • Points of interest can be found in the App by searching for a labels assigned to them in Web Administration. Also, labels assignet to POIs are displayed in the App.
